About the Role
XCS Facility Solutions is a trusted provider of facility maintenance, repair, and small construction services for commercial and residential clients. We’re growing our service team and looking for a skilled Service Plumber / Gas Fitter who takes pride in quality work and reliable service.
Position Overview
You’ll perform plumbing and gas fitting service work, maintenance, and installations across commercial and residential sites. We’re looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on plumbing and gas systems
Service, replace, and repair boilers, hot water tanks, and zone valves
Diagnose drainage and leak issues using proper tools and inspection equipment
Install and repair fixtures including sinks, toilets, and faucets
Maintain accurate service reports and work orders
Ensure safe, clean, and organized work areas
Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service work
Qualifications
Alberta Journeyman Plumber certification (3rd and 4th year apprentices with solid experience encouraged to apply)
Gas Fitter A or B certification an asset
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
Experience in commercial service work preferred
Own basic plumbing tools (specialized tools provided)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
